The Guitar Center Lessons Experience

Do you have a guitar curriculum?

Yes, I have a curriculum. The goal is to take someone who has never played guitar, to the point where they know all of their basic chords and can play at least 5 cover songs within their first year. All lessons are one-on-one instruction. However, I also offer family group sessions.

What instruments do you teach?

We offer live, one-on-one lessons on Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Bass & Ukulele

What can I expect at my first lesson?

I will customize lessons to ensure you are learning what you like and having fun. I will start you slowly, introducing new concepts each week, plus give you exercises or easy songs to play to keep you learning at home.

How much practicing time is needed between lessons?

Approximately 3 hours of weekly practice is required between lessons. I suggest 20-30mins of practice per day.

What age groups do you teach?

I teach students of all ages, from children to adults. It's never too early or too late to start learning to play an instrument!

Do I need any prior musical experience to learn guitar or ukulele?

No, you don't need any prior musical experience. I teach students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
